A quick introduction by Jon Bonner on the Live Virtual Workshops. Jon manages the 030 scene shop located in the Arts Center. His focus is lighting & scenic design, as well as unique woodworking projects and computer aided drafting (CAD).

Introduction to Vectorworks - LIVE SESSION
(4 Participant Max)
​Instructor: Jon Bonner

Vectorworks is a 2D & 3D CAD modeling programs, utilized by designers in both architectural and design fields. We will take a look at the basics of the program and work on creating basic 2D & 3D designs. Students will learn how to navigate the program establishing the groundwork for exploration later on.


Requirements:
Participants will be required to download and install the lasted version of Vectorworks (https://student.myvectorworks.net). The download is free to students.

Introduction to Q-lab - LIVE SESSION
(4 Participant Max)
Instructor: Jon Bonner

Q-lab is a Sound, Video, and Lighting control software for live theatre and entertainment. In this workshop, we will look at the essential workflows of the program and create a short audio soundscape. The workshop will focus on the audio capabilities of the software. Students will learn how to navigate the program establishing the groundwork for more exploration.


Requirements:
Participants will be required to download and install the lasted version of Q-Lab (https://qlab.app). Download is free to students. Q-lab is a Mac-based program only.

Minature Painting - LIVE SESSION
(5 Participant Max)
Instructor: Jon Bonner


Looking for something quick, fun, and shows results almost immediately? Minature painting might be right for you! In this workshop you'll learn the basics of base painting, wet palletes, shading/highlighting and more. You will end the session with a full painting minature!

Requirements:

Students will be required to pick up painting supplies before the class (paint brushes, wet pallete, painting, minature, etc.)
